Security Officers FT Shifts Vary

General Description
The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring safety and security throughout casino interior/ exterior at all times. The Security Officer position is considered a Safety Sensitive Position.
Work Schedule
- Requires morning, afternoons, evenings and nights. Monday through Sunday to include meetings, training and special events.
- Request to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advance notification and approval by supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide security escort during movement of all money transactions.
- Maintain a secure presence in all areas of money distribution, or where any currency or negotiable item transaction occurs.
- Supervise and maintain an orderly internal and external crowd control environment.
- Maintain constant surveillance of all exterior premises to ensure security.
- Direct and organize all traffic and parking functions.
- Investigate customer incidents with supervisor assistance. Complete incident report.
- Investigate policy violations with supervisor assistance. Complete incident report.
- Represents casino in a courteous and professional manner while interacting with customers, vendors and employees to ensure STAR Treatment at all times.
- Must adhere to Standard Operating Procedures of Security Department.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Physical Job Requirements
- Stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with lunch break.
- Requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting and pulling.
- Move objects up to and exceeding 25lbs. with reasonable accommodations.
- Exposure to extreme hot and cold weather conditions.
- Casino environment.
Qualification Standards
- Must pass pre-employment drug test.
- Must maintain valid Cheyenne and Arapaho Gaming License.
- Computer literate.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
